About Me

Welcome to Seeking Thin Places! I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Haley. I’m an American who is currently living in Spain. I love reading, writing, traveling, and making new friends. I’m passionate about learning, widening my perspective, art, beauty, language, genuine human connection, spirituality, and personal development.

This blog is a project, a creative endeavor, to embark on at the beginning of my post-university life. I plan to post writings and reflections from my travels in Europe, specifically recording my experiences through a lens of art, humanity, and spirituality. I’ll also be writing about things in my day-to-day life that inspire me, or that I feel capture the thinness of life as it pertains to my experience here in Europe.

Seeking Thin Places will be a space to learn, connect, and contemplate. I hope it can be a source of creative energy and inspiration. This blog is for the seekers of all sorts: the ones with too many unanswered questions, and the ones who might have figured it out a bit more. It’s a space for travelers, thinkers, dreamers, and friends from all over the world.

You are very loved, and you are very welcome here!

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
